Shimonoseki, Japan - Cruise Ship Port of Call

While visiting the traditional Japanese house in Chofu, we noticed many Japanese visitors having their picture taken next to this sign in one of the bedrooms of the home. When I inquired what the sign said, our guide told me that the Japanese emperor had spent the night in the home many years ago. The sign says something like, "The Emperor Slept Here." We all had a good laugh, and I decided to make Mother's photo.
