Kobe, Japan - Cruise Ship Port of Call

I'm beginning to think I must really love bridges! I made so many photos of bridges on this cruise tour, starting with the upper Yangtze while on the Viking Century Star, and appropriately ending with a bridge picture from the deck of the Silver Shadow in Kobe! Our last morning onboard, Mother and I had a view of this bridge as we sat on the deck of the Silversea Silver Shadow, watching the other passengers disembark. Since our flight from the domestic Osaka airport was later, we did not leave the ship as early as many of our fellow cruisers did. It had been a marvelous three weeks. We had been on four airplanes, one river cruise ship, one small ocean-going cruise ship, and too many other means of transportation such as boats, buses, cable cars, and taxis to count. We had learned much about China and Japan from our tour guides and the people we met, and couldn't wait to share our experiences with our friends and family back home. Maybe you should start planning YOUR cruise tour to the Far East!
