Knossos, Crete - Greece - Hebridean Spirit Mediterranean Cruise

These huge urns were used to carry water, honey, olive oil, wine and all sorts of items in the ancient Minoan city of Knossos on the Greek Island of Crete. They are called giant pithoi, and archaeologists found over 100 of these at the site.
