Caribbean - Grenada - Morne Fendue Plantation

<  <  Previous Grenadine Photo        Next Grenadine Photo > >

This traditional Grenadian plantation is now a wonderful restaurant.  On the far northern end of the island, this old house was made of a mixture of river rock, lime, and molasses.  The drive way was covered with nutmeg shells.  The house was a little shabby inside, but we had a delightful lunch of traditional Caribbean dishes, including Calaloo soup.
