No, that's not snow on the top of the volcanic crater of Santorini, its one of the whitewashed villages! The contrast of the red volcanic rock, blue Mediterranean, and stark white villages of Santorini is breathtaking. As we entered the caldera of the ancient volcano in the early morning, the sun drenched the village of Hora on Thirassia on the western side of the caldera.
