Netherlands - Floriade 2002
The Floriade is a once-a-decade horticultural event in the Netherlands. I attended the 2002 Floriade, which was held outside Amsterdam near the Schiphol Airport. The 2002 Floriade runs from April 6 through October 20, opening each day from 9:30 to 6:00 pm. The tulips and other flowers were absolutely unbelievable, as these pictures demonstrate. We spent our time at the "on the Lake" section of the Floriade. Most of these pictures are from that area.
