Northern Europe - Antwerp, Belgium

The Steen Castle is the oldest building in Antwerp. It is located on the waterfront in a tree-lined square named Steenplein. The entrance to the Steen Castle is guarded by this statue of Lange Wapper, a Flemish folklore legend. He was reported to be a mischievous fellow who got his jollies from peeping into people's homes at night. Guess he was a "Peeping Lange"!
