One of the diamond cutters at Diamondland in Antwerp, Belgium.  Many tours of Antwerp include a stop at this store.  One of the Diamondland employee gives a short presentation, and you have an opportunity to watch some of the workers such as this man.  He was polishing stones while we were observing him.  Diamondland has a large selection of diamonds (duh!) as well as many other gemstones.  Some in our group purchased, but most of us have problems spending hundreds or thousands of dollars in 15 minutes!  The biggest selling item for our group from Diamondland was a box of chocolates shaped like diamonds.  Good souvenir for your friends and family back home, "a diamond from Antwerp".  My husband picked up a small rock from one of the potted plants in the lobby of the shop and gave it to me.  He wanted me to be able to tell my friends back home that he had gotten me a "rock" at Diamondland.
