LONDON, April 4, 2003 - Swan Hellenic has released its April 2003-2004 2nd Edition brochure detailing an even wider array of destinations and inclusive shore excursions aboard its new ship, Minerva II. For the first time, Swan Hellenic will explore South America, the Amazon as well as Central America, the Bahamas and the eastern seaboard of the United States and Canada. 

Additionally, Swan Hellenic is offering special values to guests who embark on cruises of 14 days or more. Travelers can take advantage of a 40 percent value when booking a consecutive cruise in a balcony cabin and 30 percent for other cabin grades on all 2003 sailings. Those who book a second cruise later in the year, prior to departing on the first, can save 25 percent on the subsequent cruise. Those who book a second cruise while on board or within six weeks of their return can save 20 percent on the subsequent cruise. In 2004, vacationers looking to plan ahead can save 50 percent on a consecutive cruise when booking a balcony cabin on select sailings. Those with a couple more weeks of vacation time can stay on board the Minerva II and enjoy savings of 55 percent on a third consecutive cruise and 60 percent on a fourth. Alternatively, guests can also save 30 percent on consecutive sailings when booking other cabin categories on select 2004 cruises.*

From Jan. 30-Feb. 15, 2004, Minerva II sails through Chile, Argentina and the Falkland Islands with visits to the world's most southern city of Ushuaia; the pristine Chilean fjords; Chacabuco, one of the few areas where the Andes meet the sea; Otway Bay's penguin colony; and the cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires. Prices begin at $3663 per person, based on double occupancy. 

Minerva II departs Buenos Aires to explore the beautiful coastal cities of Brazil from Feb. 13-29, 2004. Guests can visit spectacular landmarks in exotic Rio de Janeiro; ornate churches in Salvador de Bahia; Belem's Mercado Ver-o-Peso; and Recife's beautiful Olinda, named a UNESCO World Heritage City. Swan Hellenic discovers the charming legacies of Brazil, French Guiana, Venezuela, Colombia and the Dutch Antilles from Feb. 28-Mar. 14, 2004, with visits to the turquoise lagoon and white sand beaches in Alter do Chao; world-famous Goeldi Museum; and the beautiful colonial cities of Cartagena, Georgetown, La Guaira and Coro.
