Guide Picks - Top Magazines for Cruise Lovers
LOVE travel magazines, and I subscribe to a number of them. I LOVE to sit in
my easy chair at home or lie in the bed and dream over the articles and
pictures. Here are my favorites. Any of these magazines will make a
great gift for someone who loves to cruise or travel--or for someone who wishes
he or she could cruise or travel!|
This wonderful travel magazine has
eight issues per year. It is filled
with photos and professional articles. Vacation ideas for those
traveling in the U.S., Canada, or around the world. Enjoyable for the
"real" traveler and the "armchair" traveler.
Monthly magazine focusing on all sorts of travel opportunities.
Primarily geared towards upscale resorts and cruises. Wonderful for
dreaming about places you'd like to visit if you had the money! Its
monthly "Where in the World Are You" feature is a fun puzzle to

traveler. Bimonthly magazine has articles on ships, ports of call,
activities, and other topics of interest to those of us who love to cruise.
Another great magazine
for someone who loves to cruise. Articles on ships, cruise reviews,
ports of call, and other important facts for cruisers.

General travel magazine
similar to Conde Nast. Monthly articles on desirable vacation
destinations around the world. Wonderful pictures and
descriptions of places I would like to visit someday.
I never realized how many
wonderful islands there were in the world until I started subscribing to
this magazine! And, if you love islands, you will find that many of
them are accessible via cruise ship. Bimonthly.
Not really a magazine,
but is a newsletter geared towards travel professionals. More current
"news" type articles than the slick, glossy magazines that have
longer lead times for publication. Magazine is funded by subscriptions
rather than ads and is a favorite of travel agents.
Caribbean Travel and
The Caribbean is the most
popular cruise destination. This magazine is wonderful for learning
about the islands and their people before your cruise.
