Cruise Reviews - Mirage 1 - Ocean Club Cruises

Cruise Line: Ocean Club Cruises
Ship: Mirage 1
Date of Cruise: September 25, 2003

Sailing from Port Canaveral on the Mirage 1
By: Anne

Cruise ship is outdated. Food mediocre but worst of all, we felt like we were held hostage for 2 1/2 days. We noticed there were no TV's in any of the cabins even though the 220 electric had converters and a ledge which was put there purposely for a TV, there were no TV's (or radios). You could feel every movement the ship made during the cruise. I was seasick the entire time. The pool on the deck had not been filled. There was absolutely NOTHING else to do onboard unless you wanted to drink or gamble. In the casino many of the slot machines did not work, in the arcade more than half of the games were out of order. Upon exiting the vessel (finally!!) we noticed rows of televisions in boxes waiting to be loaded back on the ship, as if the TV's had been removed just for that cruise. My husband and I were disgusted and disappointed.
