The cruise industry is giving cruise lovers twelve new ships in 2003, a significant increase from the five new ships we saw last year. It is exciting to have more choices in cruise ships, and the innovative new technology and improved amenities found on newer ships make cruising an even better vacation option. (As if that were possible!) The Coral Princess led the way this year with her christening on January 3, and new ships will debut with each season of the year. Here is a listing of the newest mainstream cruise ships to join the cruise industry, and their expected inaugural sailing dates.
