Some of Amsterdam's streets are narrow but festive. We never could determine what this sign said, but guessed something like "Do Not Enter". However, one of the About Cruises site visitors helped with the translation! I recently got an email from Diane, who told me it said something like, "thoroughfare vehicular traffic obstructed". It appears that usually cars and delivery trucks were allowed to drive through here, but not allowed at this time for whatever reason. That's not very exciting, but it sounds good!
