Children of Raiatea
- The singing and dancing of these small children (ages 3 to 13) was a real treat.
Outrigger Canoe Trip- The view of Raiatea from a motorized outrigger canoe is a great way to see the shoreline and navigable river.
Polynesian Marae- The most important temple of Polynesia is on Raiatea.
Raiatea by 4x4 - The 4x4 trip on Raiatea was not as muddy or bumpy as Bora Bora, but we did get to travel inside of the old volcanic crater.
Black Pearl Farm- After seeing how complicated it is to culture pearls, you might understand better why they are so expensive.
Visiting a Motu Near Raiatea - Sitting on the white sand and looking at the turquoise water really makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise.
Dockside at Ututoa, Raiatea- This small village is an easy walk from the ship since we were able to dock at the pier.

Motu Beach and Snorkeling Picnic- We did a wonderful shore excursion to a motu. The snorkeling was the best we had on this cruise.
Dolphin Watching Expedition - The waters around Moorea are filled with wildlife. I was unnecessarily worried that our dolphin watching trip would be in vain.
