Normandy - Northern Europe - Cruise to the Baltic
This bridge over the Seine River near Le Havre, France is the largest suspension bridge in the world. We crossed it on our way to visit the Normandy beaches invaded by the Allies in World War II. The bridge is appropriately named the Normandy Bridge, and it lies near the mouth of the Seine, just before it empties into the English Channel. Paris, which is located on the Seine, is a few hours upstream from here. The toll across the bridge was 33 francs.
