I made these 2 pictures while on a cruise shore excursion near the Marseille reservoir and park. The first shot is the top of the dam, and behind this beautiful structure (and underneath it) is the reservoir and a series of aqueducts to deliver water. Quite a difference from the Corps of Engineers reservoirs we have back home in the United States!
I turned around after making the picture above and made this shot of the tree-lined streets and interesting architecture of Marseille. Street in the front leads down the hill to the waterfront.
