Cruise Location: Southern Caribbean
Date of Cruise: February 2004

Adventure of the Seas is a beautiful ship with a wonderful staff. She is very impressive in the different ports where she dwarfs other ships beside her. The food was very good in the dining room as well as in the buffet area which seemed to be open most of the time. The creamies from the machines about the ship tasted a little like ice milk rather than frozen yogurt.
The entertainment was good and plentiful. The skating show was excellent--don't miss that one! If you attend the Adventure Club informational meeting you'll get a sneak peek at the skaters in the show. The Adventure Club was fabulous with great activities and cool staff. The pools were fun and the pool area designed well.
We like to discover things on our own so we didnt do any tours, however I would recommend the San Juan tour that brings your bags and you right to the airport at the end of the week. This saves you from waiting to get off the ship and waiting again at the airport to be able to check your bags.
The fitness center was my favorite area and all the classes I attended were great. I didn't try the spa on this particular cruise. The sports deck was also a favorite of mine and the 24 hour mini golf came in handy more than once. The rock wall was challenging and a lot of fun. The inline track was small. We brought our own blades--it wasn't worth carrying them. Johnny Rockets was also a fun spot.
