AMAWaterways Amalegro - European River Ship Profile and Tour

A river cruise ship like the AMAWaterways Amalegro is a wonderful way to see Europe. River ships cover many of the rivers, canals, and waterways of Europe, and can dock in the center of fascinating cities, towns, and small villages. We sailed on the Amalegro on an April "Tulip Time" cruise roundtrip from Amsterdam, covering much of the Netherlands and Belgium on a nine day cruise.

The Amalegro had many of the same features found on other river ships such as a sun deck on top, a large observation lounge forward, and one main dining room. However, the Amalegro also had a sun room with wicker furniture aft, a hot tub, the best shower I've seen on a ship, and complimentary wine with dinner.
