New Zealand is a wonderful travel destination, and many cruise lines have recognized its natural beauty, interesting history, and fascinating culture. At least 10 large and small ship cruise lines have New Zealand cruise itineraries during the November to March summer season of the southern hemisphere. Although the country has many compelling reasons to visit, New Zealand is a long way from North America and Europe. Therefore, many cruise travelers extend their vacation for several days in order to visit either the North Island, the South Island, or both.
I spent five days on an independent driving tour of the North Island, covering over 900 miles of the island and seeing many fascinating places. This 10-page article summarizes all we saw and did on the North Island of New Zealand.

I would love to travel to New Zealand. I was just reading a neat travel diary of a New Zealand cruise here http://allthingscruise.com/satwpresident-begins-her-new-zealand-cruise-aboard-island-passage/ . Sounds like so much fun.
