Puerto Rico is a diverse eastern Caribbean island, which is politically considered a Commonwealth of the United States. 
The island is covered with historical sites, mountains and rain forests, and is circled by mangrove swamps and beautiful beaches.
Many cruise ships sailing the eastern Caribbean either embark, disembark, or stopover in San Juan, and the cruise ship pier is conveniently located in the picturesque old town.
