Dominica is a beautiful volcanic island in the eastern Caribbean, with many shore excursions that revolve around outdoor activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, and rafting. 
One very interesting shore excursion option is to visit the Soufriere area of Dominica south of Rouseau and snorkel above a geothermal vent that produces warm bubbles--it is like snorkeling in a champagne glass!
