I've always wanted to sail across the Atlantic Ocean, and that dream was realized this past summer when I cruised from Boston to Amsterdam on the ms Maasdam of Holland America Line. This transatlantic crossing took the northern route once used by the Vikings, stopping at Newfoundland, Iceland, and western Norway before disembarking passengers in Amsterdam.
This 15-page cruise travel log and the photo galleries listed below provide details of our journey, including things to do both onboard the ship and in the ports of call.
