Multnomah Falls in the Columbia River Gorge

The Multnomah Falls plunge 620 feet in two sheer sections into the Columbia River Gorge. The falls are located just off Interstate 84 in the Columbia River Gorge of Oregon, making it one of Oregon's most-visited attractions. The beautiful Multnomah Falls Lodge at the foot of the falls was built in 1925.

Although you can easily drive to the Multnomah Falls from Portland or other cities in the Northwest, a river cruise on the Columbia and Snake Rivers is a perfect way to see much of this part of the USA.
