Cherbourg - Port of Call in Normandy, France

Cherbourg sits on the English Channel in the Normandy region of France. Most cruise ships stopover in Le Harve so that passengers can schedule shore excursions at the Normandy beaches or in Paris. However, some ships dock on the northwest side of the Normandy beaches in Cherbourg, which is also a very popular ferry destination.
