Cruising the Columbia and Snake Rivers of the American Northwest is ideal for those who love nature, soft adventure, casual cruising, and American history. The passengers on our Columbia and Snake River cruise shared a love of learning and the out of doors. Following the river trails of the Lewis & Clark expedition was a marvelous experience for us all, and the expedition leaders and guest speakers were excellent.
We often focus on great European ocean explorers such as Columbus and Magellan, but I learned much about these brave American explorers and their expeditions that we were never taught in school. I also came home with a new appreciation for those who followed the Oregon Trail, looking for a new life in the American Northwest.
