Celebrity Cruise Line operates ten large premium cruise ships that sail world-wide itineraries and one expedition ship that sails year-round in the Galapagos Islands. The ships offer cruise travelers good value for their vacation dollar.
Although the company first sailed in 1990, Celebrity merged with Royal Caribbean International in 1997 to form Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. Starting in 2008, the company has added four new ships, all in the popular (and beautiful) Solstice Class. A fifth ship in the class, the Celebrity Reflection, will be added in fall 2012. As seen in the photo at the right, the Solstice Class ships can be distinguished by the Lawn Club on the top deck.
This cruise line profile of Celebrity Cruises provides more background and information on the company.
