Isn't this water gorgeous? Fakarava is one of the Tuamotu Islands of the South Pacific, just a day's sailing north of Tahiti. 
Mainstream cruise lines rarely anchor at the Tuamotus, but the passenger cruise freighter the Aranui 3 often stops over on its routine sailings between Papeete and the Marquesas Islands.
