The 2104-passenger Eurodam was the first Signature class ship for Holland America Line. Statistically, the Eurodam is the same length and width as the Holland America Vista class ships, but she has one more deck and 63 more staterooms. The ship has 11 decks and is similar in configuration to her younger sister the Nieuw Amsterdam. The Eurodam also features HAL's first Spa Staterooms and has excellent restaurants, including Tamarind, an Indonesian restaurant serving traditional Rijsttafel.
The Eurodam sails Europe, New England/Atlantic Canada, and the Caribbean. Let's take a tour of this beautiful cruise ship.

I traveled on the Eurodam in Oct and there was a foul smell on our cabin, since the first day.
We were change to another cabin, but after the second day in had the same smell.
We also found that horrible smell on the public bathrooms by the restaurant.
Has anybody encounter the same problem.
We are planning a 69 days cruise on the Amsterdam, and it does concern us that Holland America, has not give us a answer for the smell. All they have done is offer bottles of wines, etc.
If some body has an input on this situation, pls contact us.
Thanks,
T
How can a person on a cruise get cash once on board the ship? Do the cabins have a hair dryer in them?
Many cruise ships have ATMs where you can get cash onboard. However, you will not need cash except for the casino, since all the shops, bars, tours, etc. are charged to your cabin. At the end of the cruise you pay your entire bill with a credit card.
All cruise ship cabins have hair dryers furnished in them.
Wow that sounds lovely, I’ll have to talk my husband into giving me a early birthday present
are the prices on the eurodaam in euros or americian dollars
The Holland America Line Eurodam uses American dollars as its onboard currency. Cruise fares advertised by the cruise line and in the USA are in American dollars.
