Cape Town offers a variety of interesting sites and activities such as Table Mountain, Robben Island, and the spectacular Cape Town beaches. The beaches attract surfers, windsurfers, and kite boarders, but the water is too cold for swimming without a wet suit. All beaches in South Africa are public, so many are very crowded on weekends.
