In addition to its innovative Panorama Suites, the Avalon Panorama has lovely contemporary interior decor, delicious food, and excellent service, much like I experienced when sailing on her sister ship the Avalon Tranquility.
The Avalon Panorama will primarily sail 15-day cruises between Amsterdam and Budapest for most of 2012. This is a wonderful itinerary, featuring stopovers in cities such as Vienna, small towns like Durnstein and Rudesheim, UNESCO World Heritage sites like the Wachau and Rhine river valleys, and many other memorable towns that can't be visited from an ocean-going ship. In late November and December, the Avalon Panorama will cruise to some of Europe's most fascinating holiday markets. Her 2013 European river cruise schedule also features the Danube, Main, and Rhine Rivers between Budapest and Amsterdam.
