First, miniature golf enthusiasts will enjoy the "golf course" on Goofy's Sports Deck. Like all miniature golf courses, it will provide family fun, but with a few Disney additions. Goofy's Sports Deck will also include two digital sports simulators with a variety of virtual game experiences such as soccer, tennis, basketball, and golf. Small children will enjoy Max's Courts, two mini-sized sports courts for little ones to enjoy soccer, basketball or group play.
Nemo's Reef is a shaded water-play area for kids with water jets, bubblers, and characters from "Finding Nemo" for children to interact with. It is found near the Donald Pool and Mickey Pool on deck 11 between the forward and aft funnel.
Adults don't have to feel left out of the fun. The Disney Dream will include the Quiet Cove Pool and Cove Bar, which is a retreat for guests 18 and older. Quiet Cove features places to sunbathe, a freshwater pool, and a hot tub. It should be a great place to escape while the kids are engrossed in the onboard activities the Disney Dream has planned for them.
Those who have cruised with Disney before will be happy to learn that the Mickey Pool, appropriately shaped like Mickey's head, will be included on the Disney Dream. However, since this new ship will have a statue of Donald Duck at the helm in the lobby, the Donald Pool will be a focal point for families to gather and enjoy all of the activities up on deck. Overlooking Donald Pool is the giant Funnel Vision LED screen - more than 30 feet wide and 18 feet high - showing Disney films and other live broadcast events. A retractable floor will extend over the pool, providing an ideal dance floor for deck parties. Sounds like fun, doesn't it?
