Train Travel Blog Carnival

I love cruising, and ships travel to many destinations all over the world. However, if you want to visit an inland city or just view some of the magnificent scenery at a slower pace than air travel provides, a train trip can be a memorable vacation.

In addition, cruise travelers often have the opportunity to take shore excursions on all kinds of trains. I've taken to the rails in such diverse locales as Cairns, Australia; Flam, Norway; Palma, Mallorca; Anchorage and Skagway, Alaska; and Ushauia and Iguazu, Argentina. All were fun and entertaining.
