Winter Small Ship Cruising in the Mediterranean and Red Seas on Elegant Cruises' MV Monet

Many times cruise lovers think about visiting the Mediterranean in the spring, summer, and fall, but forget how delightful the region can be in the "off" season. You will find less tourists, better deals, and better winter weather than in most parts of the USA. Elegant Cruises and Tours has two interesting voyages on the yacht-like 62-passenger MV Monet.

The first cruise is "Adriatic Shores and Ionian Islands", a 10-night cruise from December 5-16 that includes the new cruising hotspot of Kotor, Montenegro, along with ports in Croatia and Greece.

The second winter cruise is "Marvels of Christianity and Antiquity", a 16-night cruise tour from February 16 - March 5, 2009. The cruise tour starts in Amman, Jordan and disembarks in Limassol, Cyprus. I found this cruise tour interesting because it is packed with some of the most interesting sites of ancient world, along with sites of religious significance.
