Cruise "America's Galapagos" with Cruise West

Friday April 6, 2007
Cruise West EndeavorMany people think of the Galapagos Islands off the coast of South America when planning a nature-oriented, small ship cruise. The Galapagos are well known for the diversity and numbers of wildlife, but getting to the islands involves (at least) a couple of airplane flights, and the cost is well beyond many travelers' budgets. What many people don't realize is that the Baja Mexican coast also has a wide variety of wildlife, including the massive gray whales that winter in the gulf.

Join travel journalists Margaret Backenheimer and J.D. Brown as they share their experiences from a Baja Cruise West voyage.
