Silversea Announces World Cruise 2008

Its 2007 world cruise is not set to embark until next month, but luxury cruise line Silversea Cruises has already announced the specifics for its 2008 world cruise, also on the Silver Shadow. According to the cruise line, the 2007 world cruise has been so popular that bookings for the 110-day 2008 world cruise will start on January 2. The 2008 cruise will be a true "round the world" voyage, embarking and disembarking in Fort Lauderdale.

I've sailed on the Silver Shadow, and can only dream about 110 days circumnavigating the globe on a ship such as this one!

(New York, NY -- December 12, 2006) Energized by the overwhelming success of World Cruise 2007, scheduled to depart Fort Lauderdale next month, Silversea is excited to unveil World Cruise 2008, appropriately themed "The Rhythms of the World." The curtain rises on January 16, 2008, when Silver Shadow is set to embark on a 110-day voyage, encircling the world and embracing the cultures of more than 25 countries and over 50 different ports of call.
