Carnival Freedom to Offer Special Nine-Day Mediterranean/Greek Isles Cruise in March 2007
For those looking for an exciting and affordable European vacation option, Carnival Cruise Lines’ new 110,000-ton Carnival Freedom will operate a special one-time nine-day cruise in March 2007 featuring visits to six magnificent ports in Italy, Greece, Croatia and Turkey. The voyage begins with an overnight call in Venice March 5 and includes day-long stops at Dubrovnik, Croatia; Katakolon and Athens, Greece; Izmir, Turkey; Rhodes, Greece; and Naples, Italy; before arriving in Rome (Civitavecchia) on March 14, 2007.
I cruised to Venice and Dubrovnik on the Carnival Freedom's sister ship, the Carnival Liberty in May, and loved all the ports of call, including Venice and Dubrovnik.
