Book Review - Insight Guides' Great River Cruises - Europe and the Nile

Over 1 million people enjoyed a river cruise last year, and this vacation option is fun for those of us who love ocean cruises as well as those who enjoy traveling with a tour group or independently. Over 400 river cruise ships sail most of the major rivers of Europe, and this 368-page book has concise, informative descriptions of many of the ports of call. It also provides useful information for those who want to learn more about river cruising.

I am sure it will be a valuable part of my cruise library as I plan future river cruises, and the photography brings back fond memories of past European river cruises. The guide also includes about 20 pages devoted to Egypt and the Nile River.
