Carnival's Holiday Will Continue to Sail from City of Mobile
Saturday August 5, 2006
Carnival Cruise Lines has extended its contract with the City of Mobile, Ala., for another year, thus allowing the line’s 1,452-passenger Holiday to continue operating its four- and five-day Mexico cruises from the Alabama Cruise Terminal. Carnival launched the first and only year-round cruise program from Mobile in October 2004. Since then, the voyages have consistently operated in excess of 100 percent occupancy (based on two per cabin) and accounting for approximately 125,000 passengers annually from that port.

DONT GO ON THIS SHIP!!!! I just returned from a 5 day trip to Mexico and this boat is old in need of MANY repairs and stinks!! I was a first time cruiser and still HATED the ship…they need to dry dock it for good. Every where you turn there are rude people that work on this ship with poor food and entertainment!!! We couldnt dock in Progresso because some drunk guy fell down an flight of stairs and broke his legs, so we lost that day off the ship, I literally felt like I was in Jail on this ship because there is nowhere to go and get peace besides your roomwhich is tiny and rocky and creeky and stinky!!! DONT GO ON THIS SHIP TRUST ME!~!!!!
I just returned from a 5 day cruise on Holiday to Progresso and Cozumel. My cabin had poor ventilation and the bathroom “stinks”. After several complaints the plumbers tried to spray something in the drain pipes and left me a can of air freshioner. It still stinks. Good luck if you go on this cruise. Also, they gave me a coupon for a 10% discount on a future cruise, as if I will ever go on this ship again.
