Hebridean Island Cruises Renamed as Hebridean International Cruises

Hebridean Island Cruises has announced the renaming of the Company to become Hebridean International Cruises.

Hebridean designed this change to clarify to its potential customers that it in addition to operating its cruises around Scotland's West coastline on the Hebridean Princess, it also takes in more exotic destinations such as the Indian Ocean and South Africa, as well as the Mediterranean and the Arabian Seas with the Hebridean Spirit.

I cruised on the Hebridean Spirit in the Greek Isles a few years ago and found the ship and its crew to be delightful. Anglophiles, bagpipe lovers, and those looking for a luxury cruise in an English manor setting will find it perfect.

The change of name is effective immediately and is timed to coincide with Hebridean’s launch of its exciting new Winter and Spring 2006 - 2007 brochure which takes in the Mediterranean and Red Seas, the Indian Ocean and the West Coast of Africa.

I just returned from a trip on the Hebridean Spirit (Portugal, France, Spain, UK), and I can only say great things about it. Great food (with wine and drinks included), attentive service, and really nice fellow passengers. It’s a luxury–and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
