Victoria Cruises Moves Full-Steam Ahead With Plans For Victoria Anna Inaugural Sailing On April 25, 2006

NEW YORK (Feb. 9, 2006) – Victoria Cruises is preparing for the launch and inaugural sailing of its largest and most elaborate ship to-date -- the Victoria Anna -- which will make its first trip down China’s Yangtze River on April 25, 2006. Continuing with its mission to present an unparalleled group of luxury vessels sailing the fabled Yangtze, the addition of the Victoria Anna expands Victoria Cruises’ fleet to seven.

“We are very excited about the approaching inaugural sail of the Victoria Anna,” said Benson Wu, vice president of Victoria Cruises. “With the introduction of this incredible ship, we reaffirm our commitment to remain the premier cruise line on the Yangtze River,” Wu added.

The Victoria Anna will be the largest ship in the company’s fleet and boasts the highest passenger capacity and most suites of all vessels sailing the mighty Yangtze.

The Victoria Anna will feature 154 cabins (132 standard accommodations, 16 junior suites, four deluxe suites and two Shangri-la suites) for a total passenger capacity of 308 (and a crew of 138). At a gross tonnage of 6,200, the five-passenger deck vessel will be 347.7 feet long, 54.4 feet wide, 50 feet high and feature a draft of 2.6 meters.

All cabins will have bathrooms complete with a shower and bathtub, television with HBO and BBC broadcasts, and private balconies so guests can appreciate the magnificent views of the Yangtze any time. The Victoria Anna will feature two restaurants (a single seating main dining room and an a la carte restaurant on the top deck), two lounges, three bars, a fitness room, lecture room (for talks about the river’s history and lessons in Tai Chi, Mandarin language and mah jong), library, beauty salon, massage room, foot massage center, gift shop, spacious observation deck, Internet access, two elevators and a three-story atrium lobby.

The Victoria Anna will boast the same deluxe style and décor as other Victoria Cruises’ vessels from tastefully-appointed cabins and elegant atriums with sparkling chandeliers and gleaming woods to an overall décor throughout of American and European influences with Asian accents.

The Victoria Anna will sail Victoria Cruises’ highly-acclaimed Three Gorges Highlights program, both upstream and downstream. The itineraries, a four-night Yichang – Chongqing (upstream) sailing and a three-night Chongqing – Yichang (downstream) sailing, offer travelers an unparalleled sailing experience among some of the world’s most beautiful scenery. Pricing for these magical journeys along China’s most famous river begins at $775 per person, cruise only.

Victoria Cruises’ portfolio of ships comes in two categories – premier and classic. Premier ships (the Victoria Katarina, Victoria Empress, Victoria Prince, Victoria Queen and Victoria Star) are new or newly-rebuilt ships featuring enhanced facilities such as private balconies in every cabin, more spacious public areas, and a higher level of comfort, sophistication and décor throughout the ships. In the Classic ship category is the Victoria Rose (rebuilt in 2001). Although smaller than the other ships in the fleet, the Victoria Rose maintains the same high quality standards of the company’s other vessels. All ships maintain the highest international safety standards.

Victoria Cruises offers a variety of itineraries varying from four to nine days including Grand Yangtze Discovery, Three Gorges Highlights, and Three Gorges Explorer.

Based in New York, Victoria Cruises established new standards of excellence for sailing China’s Yangtze River when its first ship edged out of port in 1994. Since that time, Victoria Cruises has achieved tremendous success by introducing the majesty of the Yangtze River to travelers worldwide. A true pioneer and innovator, Victoria Cruises delivers an unrivaled and unsurpassed Yangtze River experience. An American-managed company, Victoria Cruises operates the largest fleet of vessels with the coveted five-star rating from the China National Tourism Administration.

China’s magnificent Yangtze River continues to awe and inspire and Victoria Cruises continues to be the finest guide for the journey.
