Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises Online Check-In Is Now Fleetwide

Thursday October 13, 2005
Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises' online check-in program that launched on two ships in July 2005 was made available fleetwide to all ships in the fall of 2005, in English and Spanish, reducing guests' check-in times to just seconds at the pier.

Named "Xpress Pass" for Celebrity Cruises and "SetSail" for Royal Caribbean International, online check-in allows guests to fill out all pertinent cruise documents before arriving at the pier. Boarding documents, immigration forms, onboard accounts and ticket contracts can be completed with just a click of the mouse. Forms are only available to those with booking numbers.

Obviously no one reads the comments and takes corrective action. It’s rediculous to waste customer’s time like this. Get a grip on your IT people!

Hope the cruise experience is better than the online checkin. Hopefully, US Postal Service is more accommodating and all papers will arrive in a timely manner.

This is ridiculous!! If you prefer that your
clients/passengers do online booking, why not
make it easier to do so. Nothing has been easy from beginning to NOW. Not to thrilled with our travel agent, either.

Certainly hope this trip is a good one because, at this moment, I’m very annoyed.

Today I have been 2 hrs and 10 minutes trying to “check in”….. for this Saturday BUT the site crashes 3 times, does not work. when I called via phone, the Royal Car. rep. said everything is fine – IS NOT -.
Now the Royal Car. site says . “…. Royal Carb. is not available at this time…?
WHEN will it be available?
I am angry and if I could get my $ back I would. DCT

I have learned or it seems that one problem is the AAA Travel “”Counselors”" do a poor job of initially giving Royal C. the correct info. on a traveler.
Also, after receiviing the money from me & others, they avoid, with a passion, any follow up help in dealing with Royal C. and their non-functioning web site. (or it is currently non-functioning as of 11:05 am, May 14, 09.) Dct.
