(Ft. Lauderdale, FL – June 13, 2005) Silversea guests can experience the art of relaxed luxury aboard six "Transoceanic Crossings" in 2005 and 2006, and enjoy savings of up to 50%. Ranging from twelve to 16 days, the transoceanic cruises offer a leisurely voyage of discovery along the grand routes connecting far-flung continents and cultures. Guests will journey in pampering, six-star luxury on voyages linking Europe with America's Colonial Coast or the Caribbean, and the Far East with the "Land Down Under," while distant corners of the Pacific Rim connect on a cruise from Japan to Alaska.

From the jungle temples of Cambodia's Angkor Wat to the Australian Outback, to the imperial palaces of Japan and the stately manners of England, guests will also have the opportunity to extend their transoceanic cruise with carefully tailored pre- and post-cruise land programs offering unique adventures and in-depth cultural exploration.

"Our Transoceanic Crossings are an excellent option for those sophisticated travelers who have the time to indulge in luxury and worldwide adventure at a leisurely pace," said David Morris, Silversea's senior vice president, North America sales. ** From Sydney, the four-night "Outback Discovery" combines the spectacle of Sydney with the myths and magnificence of Australia's famed Outback. Guests witness the ever-changing colors of Ayers Rock as they enjoy an elegant dinner of local delicacies under the wide desert sky. From Alice Springs, guests explore the heart of the country on a camel safari, then rise early for a pre-dawn balloon adventure.
