Norwegian Dawn Damaged by Freak Wave Enroute to New York from Bahamas

The Norwegian Dawn cruise ship bound for New York City from the Bahamas was diverted for repairs to Charleston, South Carolina, after it was struck on Friday night by a huge freak wave. The wave pounded the ship up to the 9th deck and broke windows, flooded cabins and caused minor injuries to four passengers, according to the operator, Norwegian Cruise Line.
