On July 1, the 700-guest luxury Seven Seas Voyager became the largest ship ever to call at the tiny fishing hamlet of Gravdal Lofoten, Norway. At the helm during this first-time 12-night roundtrip Copenhagen "Norwegian Fjords and North Cape" voyage was Radisson Seven Seas' noted area native, captain Dag Dvergastein. This special sailing, dubbed a "Spotlight on Captain Dag," honored the charismatic master with the Seven Seas Voyager’s maiden call at his hometown of Nevunghavn, Norway. On July 8, Dag welcomed cruise guests to his beloved birthplace, where his family has lived since the 1500’s.
