French Polynesia and the South Pacific - Huahine

Huahine is one of the more peaceful Society Islands. It is "off the beaten path", and not visited by many cruise ships. It is the home of sacred freshwater eels that supposedly have blue eyes. I saw the giant eels, but didn't get close enough to see their eye color!
