Carnival Miracle -- New Cruise Ship for 2004

Carnival adds the 20th cruise ship to its fleet in February 2004, with the launching of the Carnival Miracle. The Carnival Miracle is the fourth Carnival ship in the "Spirit" Class, joining her siblings the Carnival Spirit, Carnival Pride, and Carnival Legend. All of these quadruplets were built in Helsinki, Finland at the Kvaerner Masa Yards. The Carnival Miracle is the second new large ship sailing this year, following the Queen Mary 2, which was launched in January.
